tomato pappu
Ingredients:
- Toor dal(kandi pappu)

 
- Green Chillies
 
- Chopped Tomatoes
 
- Turmeric
 
- Salt
 
- Ghee
 
- Chilli powder
 
- Mustard seeds
Method:
- First take a pressure cooker add toor dal, tomatoes, green chillies, turmeric and add water and keep the lid for 3-4 whitles.
 
- Now heat oil / ghee ( if you add ghee it gives nice taste)  in a pan add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, hing, curry leaves, dry red chillies, garlic and  fry them for few min.
 
- Now remove the lid add these to the dal.
 
- And mix it well.
 
- Add little red chilli powder,salt and coriander leaves.
 
- Serve with rice and roti.
