- 1)Take a big vessel enough to be placed inside a pressure cooker.
- 2)Wash 2 cups of red gram and put it in the above vessel along with enough water to cook it.
- 3)Add cabbage, tomato, chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and garlic to the uncooked dal along with salt and 1/2 cup of water.
- 4)Place the vessel in the pressure cooker and cook upto 4 - 5 whistles.
- 5)Heat oil in a small pan.
- 6)Splutter mustard seeds, cumin seeds and red chillies.
- 7)Pour it into the curry and mix well.
- :- Serve with plain white rice.
